Yes…now its going to happen. A long-awaited first airport hotel at Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport will be open by Hampton by Hilton in 2013 and will be built just opposite the main terminal of Gdansk International Airport.

An overnight stay in an airport hotel is the perfect way to extend your holiday, either before or after you fly. It also means extra time in bed if you’ve got an early morning flight, or a relaxing end to a long journey. This new investment is an answer for market need – especially for good quality 2 stars hotels. Investmet will be launched just one year after brand new Terminal will be opened.  Hampton by Hilton in Gdansk will be two-star hotel, which perfectly fills the gap in the hotel market Tricity.  This well known world hotel chain will have two stars and the price for a room will not exceed 200 PLN. Hampton will offer 116 rooms with Fitness Center, 50m2 conference hall and the free Internet Access in the whole building. will be built just opposite the main terminal of Gdansk Lech Walęsa Airport which is gowing very fast and at 2010 reached 2,3 mln serviced passengers.

“The signing with Port-Hotel of two agreements concerning the opening of our economy brand hotels at the Warsaw and Gdańsk airports is another step in the development of the chain in Poland,” Patrick Fitzgibbon, vice president of development in Europe & Africa at Hilton Worldwide, said in a statement.
